60 Second Commercials
How many times have you been at a networking event and had to describe your business in a minute? Do you suddenly forget what you wanted to say, or start rambling about every single aspect of your business, or stumble through a sort of half description of your company's name and purpose, and then sit down feeling like, "What just happened?"We've all been there. It's certainly not a high point in our business life. This "elevator speech" quickie business introduction is one of the most important tools in our business repertoire. We can network day and night and meet thousands of people, but it is wasted effort unless we master this technique. If we do not generate interest and attention--from our target market--each and every time we network, we are failing at the marketing strategy of networking.
